TIWA SAVAGE: I HIRED AN IT EXPERT TO REMOVE MY SEX TAPE FROM THE INTERNET, MOBILE PHONES

Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, recently revealed in an interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1 in New York that she enlisted the help of an Information Technology (IT) expert to remove an explicit video of her from the internet.

The ‘Kele Kele Love’ crooner disclosed that she took this step after the video, which was used in an attempt to blackmail her, went viral across the country. 

Tiwa expressed her concern about her son potentially stumbling upon the video in the future, which motivated her to ensure its removal from the internet.

Tiwa said, “My biggest fear about my sex tape leaking was that my son might one day see it. But I got in touch with an IT expert who hacked the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile device. Right now, you can’t find it anywhere. Even if you had it stored on your phone.”

This incident, which began in October 2021 when Tiwa first announced she was being blackmailed with the sex tape recorded with a person she was dating at the time, had significant repercussions on her career. She mentioned losing several ambassadorial roles as a result.
