CHARLES TITILOYE, KEKEMEKE, TINUBU’S LAWYER, 95 OTHERS SHORTLISTED FOR SAN TITLE

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee has shortlisted 98 lawyers for the conferment of the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Among the notable nominees are the immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Charles Titiloye, Oluwole Olawale Afolabi, Esq, lawyer to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and Toboukebide Kekemeke, Esq.

The list also includes Prof. Abdulkarim Kana (Life Bencher), the National Legal Adviser for the All Progressives Congress; former national officials of the Nigerian Bar Association, Monday Ubani, Kunle Edun, and Dr. Rapulu Nduka.

Also, Wendy Kuku, the legal adviser to the Independent National Electoral Commission; Terkaa Aondo, a prominent Abuja-based human rights lawyer; and Paul Daudu, the chairman of the NBA Bwari branch, have been shortlisted.

Seven academic applicants are also shortlisted for the prestigious title.

The names were contained in a document signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and Secretary of the LPPC, Hajo Bello, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent on Tuesday in Abuja.
