Former Kwara South Senator, Rafiu Ibrahim, has passed away.
The late senator, who represented the district in the 8th National Assembly, reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday.
Sources from the Olusola Saraki political dynasty in Kwara State revealed that he had been ill since late last year, although this was not public knowledge.
He breathed his last at a hospital in Abuja. The specific details of his illness have not been disclosed, but his funeral is scheduled to take place on the same day in his Ojoku hometown, following Islamic customs.
