BREAKING NEW: “STOP PARADING YOURSELF AS APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN” COURT TELLS GANDUJE
A State High Court sitting in Kano State on Thursday affirmed the decision to suspend Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
It should be noted that some acclaimed members of Ganduje’s Ward Executive suspended him on Monday due to allegations of financial crime levelled against him by the Kano state government.
But the APC’s national spokesman, Felix Morka, described the move as “criminal” and insisted that Ganduje remain the party’s chairman.
However, in a suit filed by Ganduje’s ward legal adviser, Haladu Gwando, and naming the APC NWC, Kano State APC Executives, and Dr Abdullahi Ganduje as respondents, the presiding judge, Justice Usman Na’Abba, granted the applicant’s prayers.
The judge also issued an exparte order prohibiting Ganduje from identifying himself as the APC national chairman.
