Singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, was arrested by the Lagos State police on Tuesday, May 14, over an alleged N14 million debt.

The arrest stemmed from his purchase of a G-Wagon valued at N27 million from a car dealer in the state.

According to reports, Portable paid only N13 million and has refused to pay the balance, claiming the vehicle’s value was faulty.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the singer’s arrest in a statement to the press.
